Special Touches Hotels Should Have

Every hotel wants to provide their guests with the best experience possible, but many overlook some of the most important details that can make or break their reputation. These special touches are not difficult to implement and will quickly be noticed by your guests, ensuring repeat business and positive online reviews. Here are some great ideas for special touches hotels should have.

1) Free Phone Chargers

Hotels offer a lot of freebies these days, from Wi-Fi to fitness centers. But one of my favourites is a free phone charger for every room. Whether you’re on vacation with your family or business travel, it’s nice to know that if your device dies (and it will!), there’s a free solution right in your room!  Even better, many hotels in Llandudno actually install USB chargers next to each bed so your entire night won’t be disrupted by a single charge cycle. These small touches can go a long way toward leaving guests feeling spoiled and coming back again and again.

2) A Luxury Soap

Everyone feels a little pampered when they stay in a nice hotel in Llandudno. With complimentary toiletries, a plush bed and a roomy shower, it’s no wonder why. The details can make or break a stay at your favourite hotel, though. Think about your last visit to your favourite luxury hotel: What made you feel most indulged? Was it being offered slippers upon check-in? Or perhaps you were pampered with special amenities like shampoo and body wash that were made by luxury brands? Most likely, there was something about your experience that felt uniquely tailored to you—that personal touch is exactly what sets luxury hotels apart from other establishments in their class.

3) Really Comfortable Beds

If you’re staying at a hotel for an extended period of time, it’s easy to forget that you’re actually sleeping on a bed, not your own mattress. While many hotels provide their guests with comfortable pillows and blankets, there are some important elements that too often get overlooked: firm mattresses and quality bedding. Most people like their beds very firm or very soft; somewhere in between is generally uncomfortable. A good hotel should be able to supply its guests with exactly what they want; if you find yourself lying awake at night due to your uncomfortable bed (or lack thereof), call down to the front desk and ask for another set of sheets or something more suited to your tastes. You’ll sleep better for it!

4) Good Lighting

If there’s one room in a hotel that it is imperative to keep well-lit, it’s the bathroom. Nothing is worse than walking into a hotel room at night, stumbling into an adjacent bathroom, then realising that you’re not alone. This particular scare may be more common to horror movies than your average business trip, but it does happen. To prevent incidents like these from happening in real life, make sure each of your bathrooms comes equipped with plenty of lighting.
